CARL FROCH is well-known for reminding people of how many people were there at Wembley in 2014, to see George Groves win.
Oleksandr Usyk, the former super-middleweight champion of the world, can now be added to the growing list of people that he has spoken about boxing before 80,000 spectators.
Carl Froch joked with Oleksandr Uzyk about his fight at Wembley before 80,000 fans
Froch, 44 and Usyk, 35, met at the London press conference to promote his rematch against Anthony Joshua on August 20.
Froch was approached by the Ukrainian fighter to take a photo. The Nottingham-born ex-fighter could not resist laughing about his last fight.
Froch told Usyk in footage posted online by Pro Boxing Fans: "Didn't you know how many people at Wembley Stadium I boxed before?"
The confused Usyk replied, "Sorry?"

Froch stayed true to his guns, and said: "I boxed in Wembley Stadium."
As Usyk looked completely bewildered, he laughed and said: "Yeah!"
Froch continued: "Does anyone know how many people there were?" 80,000... 80,000."
Froch eventually put Usyk out of his misery by allowing him to speak.

Froch can however surpass that with the 80,000 who saw him rematch Groves in his first fight at the new Wembley.
After the fight, he immediately retired and has been keen to remind boxing fans about the attendance ever since.
This record was only broken by Joshua vs Wladimirklitschko in 2017 and 94,000 who were there to witness Tyson Fury defeat Dillian Whyte earlier in the year.
