Postponed Showdown
The highly anticipated clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight title has been postponed. The fight was scheduled to take place this month but was derailed due to a freak cut Fury suffered in sparring.
Fury's Devastation
Fury expressed his devastation over the postponement, stating that he had been preparing for the fight for a long time and was in excellent condition. He apologized to everyone affected, including his own team, Team Usyk, the undercard fighters, partners, fans, and the hosts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Freak Cut
A statement from Queensbury Promotions, Fury's promotional company, explained that the cut above Fury's right eye required urgent medical attention and significant stitching. This necessitates a period of recovery, making it impossible for the fight to proceed as planned on February 17 in Saudi Arabia.
Rescheduled Date
The new date for the Fury vs Usyk fight has not yet been confirmed, but it is expected to take place in June.

TV Channels
The fight was set to be broadcast on three channels on pay-per-view: TNT Sports PPV, Sky Sports PPV, and DAZN PPV. DAZN PPV also holds the rights to broadcast the fight in the USA and the rest of the world.
Undercard Cancelled
The full card, including the undercard fights, has been cancelled due to the postponement. This means that no event will take place on February 17.
