The Chosen One was accused by taking a "dive" after the fight.
Woodley claims that his "dive" was caused by Paul's overhand right.

Woodley, 39, saw the claims that he was paid to do a 'dive'. He jokedly agreed with his detractors, insisting that Paul's well-timed, overhand right caused his faceplanting on the canvas.

During an appearance on The MMA Hour he joked that he had taken a "motherf***in" dive.

"But it wasn’t on purpose. That motherf***er hit my with some shit."

After his first clean KO loss in combat sports, Woodley was the subject of many jokes. Some of his fellow MMA fighters were also shooting shots.

The Missouri mauler insists that Paul would prevail over many of them.

He stated that: "A lot people are saying, 'Oh! You lost to him again. You were knocked out.

"He would literally f**k many of you up."

"MMA fighters and others that are just bumping at your gums. He is an athlete kid who doesn't have any other job.

"He doesn't have any children, he don’t have any businesses that he’s running.

"He can have the best coach, the best nutrition, and the most focus, but he can't separate himself.

"He doesn't have to bear the financial burden. When we start MMA, most of us don't have the money we need. We do the best we can.

"We can use any training that we receive to help us see a bright future."

Woodley is now at peace with his shocking defeat to Disney's former star, but he can't help but regret the split second he lost his left hand during the sixth stanza.

Tyron Woodley is planning to compete again in this year's event and is aiming for a showdown against Dan Hardy

He said, "Why, man?" He asked: "Why did you drop your hand at that time?"

Later, the Strikeforce former star said that he had not dropped that hand and continued fighting the way it was going. We would have been looking at something else.

"So, I just have to, you know? Take the bitter with sweet and keep it moving."

Woodley, who has made a vow to not give up on his competitive skills after the devastating loss, is now aiming for a fight with Dan Hardy, former UFC welterweight champion.
