Wrestling icon Ric Flair has recently opened up about a frightening experience he had while smoking weed with boxing legend Mike Tyson. Flair, a long-time friend of Tyson and business partner in the marijuana industry, joined him on his popular podcast 'Hotboxin' with Mike Tyson.' However, during a separate smoking session, Flair found himself feeling worse for wear after taking one too many puffs. In an interview on comedian Theo Von's podcast, Flair revealed that he actually thought he had died.

Thinking He Was Back from the Dead

Flair, who has his own strain of marijuana with Tyson, described the terrifying moment when he realized the extent of his high. "It finally hit three o'clock in the morning and I kinda sat up in a blur and went, 'I'm back,'" Flair shared. Overwhelmed and paranoid, he even called one of his friends to confirm if he was truly alive. "That's how screwed up I got," he added.

Comparing the High to a Coma

Flair compared the effects of his smoking episode with Tyson to his 2017 coma, which he experienced after complications during bowel surgery. The wrestling legend remarked that during both instances, he questioned his ability to think clearly. "I can think. And I don't think I could think when I was in my coma," Flair shared.

A Contest of Who Can Smoke More

Flair admitted that he got himself into such a state because he tried to keep up with Tyson's smoking habits. "I just said, 'I'm gonna smoke as much as you right now brother,'" he recalled. This competitive puffing eventually led to Flair's overwhelming high and subsequent panic.

Mike Tyson's Expanding Marijuana Empire

While Flair experienced a terrifying ordeal, Tyson continues to make strides in the marijuana industry. The former champion boxer recently opened a coffee shop in Amsterdam, expanding his already multi-million-pound marijuana empire. Tyson expressed his excitement for the opening, stating that he couldn't wait to share his beloved and undefeated goods with Europe.

It's clear that while smoking weed can be a fun and relaxing experience for some, it's crucial to know one's limits and smoke responsibly. Even legends like Ric Flair can find themselves in frightening situations when they go puff for puff with the likes of Mike Tyson.
