YOUTUBER Jake Paul and Tommy Fury, Love Island's star, got into a heated argument at a press conference before this month’s fight night.
Paul, 24 has also listed six conditions Fury (22), must fulfill if Fury wants to have a major pay-per view clash with the American in future.
YouTuber Jake Paul would like to challenge Tommy Fury, Love Island star
At a press conference, Paul gave a big hint ahead of his fight in Cleveland with UFC star Tyronwoodley on August 29.
Fury, who was on the undercard of the boxing event, was also present at the presser. He exchanged some unpleasant words with his American opponent.
Paul stated to the media: "I am already thinking about my next opponents." "Why do you think Fury is behind me now?"
Fury quickly responded, saying: "Your time will come, pal. You can't mention me in that trash mouth of yours.
Paul, however, had the final word and told the Brit: "When it's clear what's going on, it's easy." This is a simple sport.
Fury will face Anthony Taylor, an American unknown, on Saturday. Taylor, like Paul is yet to fight anyone notable in his professional career.
Fury must raise his profile to be able to meet the YouTuber, but he is still the larger celeb.
Paul stated to Showtime, "When you fight Jake Paul, it must make sense from a variety of points of view like height and weight, experience and pay-per-view purchases, notoriety and ability to sell a fighter and timing.
"Yeah, it makes sense. It's a big fight with Tommy and it seems that it is in both of our hands.
"We have to perform and I want to see how the US crowd reacts to him and if he has the star power for the entire week.
"He doesn’t have the huge pay-per-view numbers like Tyron Woodley, but no one has ever seen a Tommy Fury fighting.
"I suppose some people might have liked the highlights and other stuff, but it's not converting to pay-per-view purchases."
