Bourbon, a former UFC lightweight champion interim, is the latest business venture

Poirier's Bourbon is available in a sleek 750ml glass bottle for a cool PS75 ($100).

In a tweet, The Diamond announced his new venture. He said: "What's the matter man? I just want you to thank all my fans around the world for your love and support throughout the years.

"I'm thrilled to introduce you guys my Rare Stash. Check it out!"

Poirier, 32, shared a description of his Bourbon with his followers on the official website.

He stated, "This bottle is full celebrations, congratulations and second chances. It's an amazing bourbon.

"You're invited to join me in enjoying my very first batch of Rare Stash."

Although Poirier's whiskey is yet to be sold, Brendan Schaub, a former UFC heavyweight champion has already purchased a bottle.

In Instagram, the podcaster turned fighter wrote: "My buddy Dustin Poirier dropped his new Bourbon and it's DAMN delicious!"

"Congrats my man. It's your chance to get it this Friday.

Poirier has been following in the footsteps UFC star McGregor's footsteps into the whiskey industry. He launched Proper No.12 Whiskey back in September 2018.

McGregor has however sold his share in the company to Proximo Spirits, for a fee of around PS106million.

The face of the brand is still the Irishman.

Poirier's whiskey could be a lucrative venture given the success of his Louisiana Hot Sauce brand, which has sold thousands across the globe.

Poirier is coming off a submission loss to Charles Oliveira, the lightweight champion at UFC 269.

Recently, the pride of Louisiana revealed that a showdown with Nate Diaz, a fan favorite, was very close to becoming a reality. However Diaz has now thrown cold water on the grudge match.
