MIKEL ARTETA demonstrated that he still has it with an impressive piece of skill during one Arsenal's preseason training sessions.

The Gunners are currently in Germany, preparing for their preseason opener against Nurnberg today.

The former midfielder demonstrated that he still has a great first touch during a drill.

Arsenal fans were reminded of Arteta's silky skills and a touch and turn on top of the box that made Martin Odegard look like a dead man.

After Arsenal uploaded the clip to Twitter, the Emirates faithful quickly commented with one of their own: "Boss still have the #sauce."

Another one said, "Baller is my manager."

Another said, "Sign the guy wearing blue up!" It's still with our boss.

One commented: "Turned, made a pass unbeallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll."

Another voice added: "Arteta still has it."

Gunners were also blown away by a clip of Arteta helping countryman Hector Bellerin.

One replied, "Still got the eye for the pass."

Another one said, "Old memories unlock again."

Another said, "Arteta through Bellerin is it again 2014?"

Friday's match against Nurnberg will be the North Londoners' first pre-season appearance.

Arteta's troops kick off their Premier League campaign with a visit to Selhurst Park on August 5, to play Crystal Palace.
