He also slammed his critics for their commentary

Some MMA fans weren't happy with the way he called Adesanya’s title defense against The Reaper's success, accusing him with being biased in his commentary.

During an interview with MMA Fighting, Britain's first and sole UFC champion spoke out to his critics, saying that he does not take offense to criticism.

"Maybe it's just Robert Whittaker fans. Perhaps it was Joe Rogan fanboys who didn't like me stepping in. We don't know.

"I am not an arrogant a**hole who thinks I'm the end-all and be-all. My opinion is all that matters, so I ignore everything.

"But I'm confident in what I speak." "I know the sport inside and out."

He believes that his 20-years of experience in middleweight boxing means he is well-placed to offer his opinions, though he acknowledges that he may not always be right.

He stated, "I have dedicated my entire life to martial arts. UFC is my life. It is my life. It's all that I do.

"For twenty years, I was a professional fighter.

"When I'm not commentating I do weigh-ins, post-fight shows and all the rest. It's all there.

"My YouTube channel. A podcast surrounding MMA. I am an expert on the sport. Therefore, I am very confident in my opinion.

"That doesn't mean that I don't sometimes get it wrong."

Bisping's quick-notice replacement of the under-fire Rogan, who was recently made to apologise to his historical use the N-word, was initially attributed to a "scheduling conflict".

Moments after the conclusion of the show, UFC supremo Dana White announced that Rogan had decided not to participate in the second pay per view event of the year.

Joe Rogan chose not to participate in the UFC's second pay-per-view event of the year.

He stated that there was no conflict in the schedule and Joe Rogan did not work tonight. Joe Rogan could have worked tonight.

Rogan was asked whether he made the decision to not appear on the broadcast. He replied, "Yeah [he chose not to work].

"I don’t know what Joe Rogan did, but you can ask Joe Rogan. It was impossible for Joe to work, or something similar. It's complete bulls**t.
