PFL is MMA’s only league format. It consists of a regular-season and a playoff with a $1million cash prize.
Rodriquez, a well-known fight fan and winner of the 2009 World Series, is familiar with this setup.
Jennifer Lopez's ex-husband is also a businessman. He owns A-Rod Corps, an investment firm.
Rodriquez has recently given his backing to PFL and the American has been appointed to their Board of Directors.
Rodriquez, 46 years old, stated that he loves the international reach of MMA.

There are eight divisions in the PFL, with fighters fighting it out in regular series bouts.
Points are calculated based on the outcome and the method of victory to determine who qualifies for the playoffs.
