After being accidentally kicked in the head, a referee was forced to leave MMA fighting.
Scott Marhardt was in the middle IMMAF Super Cup 2022 semifinal match-up between Ireland & Mexico, when he got the punch to the head.
Marhardt seems to be trying to separate the fighters
He was too close to his comfort zone and was thundered by the Mexican rival.
The referee was lying flat on his back, and neither fighter chose to check on him.
Amazingly, Marhardt stood up and officiated the remainder of the bout.
One fan commented, "Lol poor man."
Reddit user another said: "Most efficient rolling thunder I've seen lol."
The Mexican fighter lost the fight, and Ireland was awarded a place in the final.
The final will be held on Saturday between Ireland and Bahrain.
