ANDERSON SILVA'S Boxing Coach has urged Logan Paul not to 'hide' under exhibition fight rules in the lead up to a possible meeting between them.
Silva, a legend in MMA, has been linked to a fight against the American YouTuber in September.
Anderson Silva defeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in his first professional bout since 2005.
The 46-year old was released by the UFC in December and defeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, the former WBC middleweight champion.
The Brazilian was open to further boxing dust-ups and this was his first professional fight in the squared circle since 2005.
Logan will be returning from an exhibition bout against Floyd Mayweather, where the 26-year old took the 15-time champion of the world the distance.
Luiz Dorea, Silva's coach, has warned Paul not to take on the Spider unless it is under official rules.
Sherdog was told by him that Logan proved to be an extremely brave and talented child fighting against Mayweather in an exhibition bout.
"But, ofcourse, it would be in official rules. The result would be different.
"Let's find out if he will hide under exhibition rules, or if it will be a test of his self in the real world [under professional regulations].
"In that situation, I have no doubt Anderson would knock him out."
Jeff Levin, Paul's manager, confirmed that Silva was being discussed with the Maverick last month.
ESPN quoted him as saying, "We just haven’t got there yet."
Paul is confident that his next bout against Mayweather will be worth at least $100MILLION.
On his podcast, he spoke to KSI, a former opponent, and said that Mayweather "has this ability to kinda like, bless people using a magic wand."
"And I knew that if I did well like bro, my next fight would be with the right opponent and could be a $100 million fight.
"Like literally a $100million fight."
