JIRI PROCHAZKA defeated Glover Teixeira in what many are hailing as the greatest UFC fight ever.
Fans went wild as the Czech Republic star submitted his rival with just 30 seconds remaining to become the new light-heavyweight champion.
Teixeira was actually leading on two of the judges’ scorecards heading into the fifth round.
But he was forced into a submission in the dying stages as he became the first man from his homeland to win a UFC title in Dana White‘s promotion.
Viewers quickly took to Twitter after the thrilling finish, with one declaring: “One of the best moments in MMA history. That fight was unbelievable.”
Another wrote: “Unbelievable finish to a special fight. Jiri’s round management and poor decision making would have cost him if it had gone to the score cards because glover was winning that contest.”
