Ali Walsh, however, has not tried to become a professional boxer like his grandfather.
He will instead be featured on the undercard at the FITEMMA event in Montana.
Ali Walsh has been delayed by the coronavirus pandemic, but he spent the past two years training to prepare for his debut MMA bout.
He spoke of his pride in continuing the family tradition ahead of the fight, despite his mother being "nervous” about him entering combat sport.

Ali Walsh, who is from the same family that one of the greatest boxing fighters ever, says his striking ability to be one of his strengths.
He said, "I would have to say growing up in boxing would have made me a striker, but I find myself quite well-rounded."
"I started training without a specific foundation and began learning all the disciplines simultaneously.
"I have never done any combat sports before I started MMA. I have always been a big fan of boxing and martial arts.
Ali-Walsh's younger brother Nico is also a fighter.
The 21-year old has been following in the footsteps Ali and is now a professional boxer. He currently holds a 5-0 record.
He trains with the same trainer that Tyson Fury, boxing legend Sugarhill Steward.
