Colby Covington, UFC star, has pledged to "finish" Kamaru Usman and then he will focus on Dustin Poirier.
The mysterious American seeks revenge on Usman when he enters combat with him at UFC 268.
Colby Covington lost against Kamaru Usman 2019 - but he predicts revenge in November
They fought in December 2019. Usman won the KO in round five. But Covington insists that he will raise his hand this time.
Sherdog, a 33-year-old Californian, said that he was going to finish him. We have a better plan.
"He won't see the timing I have in my skillset.
"I didn’t have timing when I fought him before. It was all volume trying to put intensity onto him.
"Now, we're stragetic. We have a plan. If it goes to the mat I'm going engage with my judo, which I learned from Coach Valverde.
He's been a great help to me with my takedowns as well as my trips and my submission game. It's totally different from Valverde. He's the best blackbelt in the world.
Covington will seek revenge against Conor McGregor on November 6th.
Covington states that it is a fight that "needs" to take place and is not pleased with the information he has received from Poirier.
He said, "You've spoken a lot to the media Dustin. Come back it up at the UFC Octagon."
Jake Paul, a YouTuber and boxer from America, appears to have Covington's support.
He called Paul "a little Disney star" and stated that his training partners had 'exposed' this social media phenomenon.
Covington, 33 years old, said to MMA News that he had met some men at the gym, Colby Covington Incorporated, and MMA Masters who went (sic), to train with Jake Paul in Miami.
"They all have kind of shared the same information. They went there, exposed him, made him look bad.
"He's a Disney little star."
Paul will be facing ex-UFC champion Tyron Whiteley, whom Covington defeated in September, at his Cleveland home on Sunday, August 29, 2009.
