Chaos is open to the idea of taking his talents to the ring as a wrestler, but he does not plan to follow his American Top Team teammates to All Elite Wrestling.
After his defeat to Kamaru Usman in UFC 268, he stated that he doesn't pay much attention to the actions of losers.
"I am focused on putting on some of the best and most exciting fights in the world.
"You might be able to see me in WWE someday, but I doubt you'll see me in a second-tier promotion like AEW."
Covington used Kurt Angle, a WWE Hall of Famer,'s famous entrance music for his four final fights. This prompted fans to chant "you suck" as they did to the Olympic gold medallist.
Angle, 33, requested Angle's permission to make the music his own.
He stated that he would not have used the song if he hadn't asked Kurt Angle personally. And he granted me permission to use it.
Covington shows the greatest respect for professional wrestlers. In 2020, he said: "To see them out there putting everything on the line... it is very - I respect these guys man."
"Those guys are the hardest workers on Earth, and I know that I want to be one of them."
"You know, I have a lot respect for Vincent McMahon man and the work he did for WWE.
"And you know what my thing is, I want to get over to WWE and make WWE wrestling real again."
He hopes to be a household name once he enters the WWE Universe.
He stated, "I want make sure that when I go there, I make the most splash possible because I'm only here for fun and not for long periods of time. I'm also here to make friends. I'm here in order to make money."
"When I go there, I want to make Brink’s truckloads money."
