After the victory, Joshua celebrated by jumping out of the ring and taking a lap around it. It was during this celebratory moment that he encountered McGregor and shared a drink of the UFC star's Irish Forged Stout. However, things took a turn when McGregor got into a heated exchange with KSI, who was standing nearby. McGregor reportedly referred to KSI as a derogatory term, but Joshua swiftly defended him, stating, "That's my guy!"
McGregor calls out KSI
Later in the night, McGregor took things a step further by publicly challenging KSI to a bare-knuckle fight. During a live interview, McGregor congratulated Joshua and mentioned KSI's presence in the crowd. He then made a provocative remark, saying, "He couldn't box eggs if he worked in an egg boxing factory. So if he wants to get in here, I'll give him a final yoke, bare-knuckle if you want."
KSI's response
KSI took to Twitter to respond to McGregor's challenge, jokingly stating, "Lmao just seen this. Jake Paul must be crying that I've got Conor on my d*** already and I didn't even have to fight an MMA fighter." KSI also faced boos from the crowd earlier in the night when he vowed to defeat Tommy Fury in their upcoming match on October 14 in Manchester.
Fury fires back
Tommy Fury, KSI's opponent, didn't hold back in his response. He criticized KSI for making a scene at the fights while Fury himself was deep in training camp. Fury confidently stated, "Keep talking s***… come the 14th I'm going to destroy you."
