Parrot-keeper Claims UFC Star's Building Project Caused Heart Attack in Prized Bird
A furious parrot-keeper is holding Conor McGregor responsible for the death of one of his prized birds. David Dunne, 37, of Drimnagh, Dublin, alleges that the test drilling at a nearby building project backed by the UFC star caused his £1,300 parakeet to suffer a heart attack.
Noise from Construction Site Causes Distress Among Exotic Bird Collection
David Dunne, who has a collection of 30 exotic birds, stated that the noise from the construction site greatly distressed his birds. Some of them even started pulling out their own feathers due to the stress. He claims that the noise from the drilling ultimately led to the death of one of his birds.
Parrot-Keeper Seeks Compensation from McGregor's Property Company
Distraught David reached out to one of Conor McGregor's companies to report the incident. He says that representatives from the company visited his home, saw the dead bird, and promised to do something about it. However, David alleges that they did not follow through on their promise to compensate him for the loss.
Agreement to Relocate Birds Falls Through, Leaving Parrot-Keeper Angry
David claims that he had an agreement with McGregor's company to help move his parrots to a location away from the construction site. However, he says that the company later reneged on the agreement and only offered to cover the cost of a van rental. This left David feeling disregarded and upset.

Parrot Enthusiast Forced to Relocate Birds at His Own Expense
In order to protect his birds from the noise and stress, David had to take down all of his aviaries and move the birds on his own. This has resulted in significant time and financial costs for David, who is also expecting a child in April. The parrots have now been relocated to a friend's property in Co Wicklow.
