Conor McGregor boasts he left Paulie Malignaggi ‘like a little seesaw’ as sparring rival backs Jake Paul to KO UFC star

UFC star Conor McGregor has hit back at Paulie Malignaggi after the former boxing world champion declared Jake Paul would knock him out.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul had reacted to footage of the Notorious hitting pads by criticising his skills and head movement.

The ex-Disney actor wasted no time in mocking McGregor, as he remarked: “This is embarrassing @thenotoriousmma.

“Your chin wide open with no head movement for the PRBLM CHILD right hand of god.”

Paul then followed it up on Twitter, as he added: “I would KO Conor in boxing or MMA. Right hand of God.”

Malignaggi was quick to comment on Paul’s claims, as he tweeted: “I agree with Jake. Conor is light work.”

And McGregor failed to hold back in his response to the Brooklyn native as he posted a picture from their sparring session in 2017 where Malignaggi was knocked down.

The Irishman shared an image of him standing above the 41-year-old who was sprawled across the canvas.

Captioning the upload, he simply stated: “I left you like a little seesaw.”

And McGregor also reacted to Paul after the 25-year-old labelled his workout as ’embarrassing’.

The 33-year-old responded with a video on Twitter calling Paul a ‘jackass.’

McGregor is nearing a return to the octagon after he suffered a horrific broken leg in his trilogy fight defeat against lightweight rival Dustin Poirier last July.

He has been called out a by a host of fighters willing to pit their wits against him – including UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman.

The 34-year-old told Club Shay Shay: “I would not fight Khabib. Khabib is like my brother, I see no interest in that. Conor, absolutely.

“So one time, before I fought Masvidal, he was tweeting a lot.

“I said, ‘Here’s your chance. If you pick up the phone right now and called the UFC, they ain’t going to say no to you to challenging for the belt.’

“Then, he was quiet. And then the next week he started calling out Anderson Silva, retired fighters, and things like that.

“So would I fight Conor? The offer is there.”
