Conor McGregor calls Nate Diaz a "cockroach" and boasts about his UFC victory over a rival

CONOR MCGREGOR is reviving his feud with Nate Diaz, UFC's other star. He called his bitter opponent a 'cockroach.

This week, the Irishman set the tone for the blue by tweeting a photo of himself confronted with Ultimate Fighter's season five winner.

In their latest Twitter back and forth, The Notorious called Diaz fan favourite Diaz "cockroach"

McGregor's caption was: "Now, add 30lbs to me and say Ding ding with a Dublin accent."

Diaz quickly responded, saying "Bruh u cannot walk or fight right away why are you talking s**t?" We will talk later."

McGregor was fired up and replied, "Who can't?" You little fat fool, come through and be smacked and rolled up your bum. Cali is my.

Diaz, 36, mocked McGregor's broken leg and said: "Nah, b***h, u should've learnt how to not break your leg when I checked your s**t, and u crutched to the fight with me.

"And how are you going to fight me when you can't run this time for your life with your broken sex?

"You lost the fight and fled for the hills like Kabob." You're a p***y, too."

They continued to argue, with Diaz finally blaming McGregor for not going back to Ireland.

The irritated Notorious said, "Little cockroach Diaz brother." It's three on the street, grab the heat.

Fan favourite Diaz said, "I ended McGregor's career lol. After watching McGregor mock Vincente Luque's callout." What happened to him?

"Get back here, if you need any help. Why do u throw your friends away?

McGregor ended the long exchange with a tweet saying: "F**k the entire city." I am (gorilla emoji) #bye."

McGregor and Diaz were part of two of the most memorable UFC fights of 2016.

Diaz, a former lightweight title challenger, won their first meeting at UFC 196 and submitted McGregor in round two of their welterweight matchdown.

Five months later, McGregor took revenge on the Californian at UFC 202. He won a five-round war via majority vote.

McGregor would love to fight in a trilogy, so he is happy to once again share the cage with his arch-nemesis.

The MacLife was informed by the Dubliner in January that he would love to face Diaz. We will again compete.

"If it happens at lightweight as a title, that would also be something special.

"There are many options available, so let's wait and see what happens. I am ready.

"I believe if he comes down to 155, he should go down for me to be truthful with you.

"I heard that Nate might give him a shot in there. But Nate is a warrior, Nate is a goer. Nate steps up and fights.

"It is not necessary. It would be a shame to see him fighting at 155 against another competitor. Nate and I could do it. We could do it together if he does 155.

"If I didn't, Nate would probably fight me at 170 pounds. We fought at 170 twice. It's not necessary to mix it up for the trilogy.

"A 155-pound challenge would be an interesting challenge for Nate if there were belts, titles, and higher things at stake.

"Many great fights, many great options, and i'm very excited for every one of them."

Both McGregor, and Diaz are currently on two-fight losing streaks. The former has suffered back-toback defeats to Dustin poirier while the latter has lost to Leon Edwards as well as Jorge Masvidal.
