Conor McGregor declares he is 'Mr Ireland,' flaunting a Lamborghini yacht while rapping a classic track

'Mr Ireland' McGregor

Conor McGregor, the renowned MMA fighter, has bestowed himself with the peculiar title of 'Mr Ireland' once again. While showcasing the power of his Lamborghini yacht in exotic waters, McGregor reaffirmed his self-proclaimed moniker. The 35-year-old has been living a life of luxury both on land and at sea.

The Quintessential Mystic Mac

In a video captioned 'Mr Ireland goes turbo', McGregor can be seen shirtless rapping along to the famous Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg track 'Still DRE'. This moment epitomizes his opulent and carefree lifestyle in recent years. As expected, the video sparked curiosity among his Instagram followers, questioning why he would ever trade it in for the grueling training camp and return to the octagon.

Refusing to Retire

Despite McGregor's holiday in the south of France, he remains resolute that he has not retired from fighting. Although his scheduled bout with Michael Chandler was agreed upon back in February, McGregor is determined to make a comeback sooner rather than later. In a tweet, he assured his true fans that the next fight is in the works, saying, "It's coming, I promise! All my real fans, the fans of the real fighter, it's coming, I promise!"

The Delayed Fight

McGregor's absence from the United States Anti-Doping Agency's testing pool has caused a delay in the fight. This bout was originally set to be part of the promotion's final pay-per-view card in December. According to UFC and USADA policy, fighters returning to the pool must undergo drug testing for a minimum of six months before being eligible to compete. However, exceptions can be made in "exceptional circumstances".

The Chandler Grudge Match

Recently, McGregor seemed to shift his focus to a rivalry with Justin Gaethje, but UFC President Dana White confirmed that the fight with Chandler is still on. In a conversation with McGregor, White established that the Irishman is ready to fight and urged him to get in shape. Despite the uncertainty, fan favorite Michael Chandler remains confident that he will eventually face off against Mystic Mac, predicting it to be the greatest comeback in combat sports history.
