CONOR MCGREGOR has intensified preparations for his eagerly awaited return to the octagon.
The UFC's superstar is in the final stages after sustaining a broken leg in his fight with Dustin Pourier in July.

McGregor, 33 years old, is getting closer to full fitness, although an autumn return seems unlikely.
He has been keeping his fans up to date on his recovery via social media. His latest training video shows him drilling the heavy bags.
Ireland's first and sole UFC champion looked polished as he demonstrated a variety of techniques and power shots.

McGregor shared a video recently of himself lifting a heavy bag with thunderous kicks on his social media channels. This was much to the delight and delight of his fans.
The caption that accompanied him read: "Something similar to a phenomenon!"
SunSport reported that UFC President Dana White stated to SunSport earlier in the year that he expects the promotion's poster child to return to action in the fall.
The MMA mogul, however, is anticipating that the pride of Dublin will return to the ring in December.
White answered Jim Rome when he was asked where McGregor's next fight would be.
"Conor wants to return at the end this year and early next year."
He said: "Conor wants to fight when I talk to him.
