Conor McGregor's fans were left in awe after noticing the uncanny resemblance between the MMA fighter and his son in his recent holiday photos. The Instagram pictures showcased Conor Junior, 7, who is the eldest of McGregor's three children with Dee Devlin.
Like Father, Like Son
As Conor McGregor enjoys his sun-kissed vacation, fans couldn't help but comment on how much his son takes after him. Many followers pointed out the striking similarities between the 'champ champ' and his little boy. One fan humorously remarked, "Conor Junior looks more like Conor than Conor does." Another fan noted that the young McGregor has already perfected his father's "mean mug."
A Week of Significance
While McGregor is taking some time off, it has been a significant week for the MMA superstar. He recently reentered the USADA's drug testing pool, sparking a rumored split between the anti-doping authority and the UFC. McGregor's return to testing would typically mean a six-month wait before his comeback. However, with the UFC opting not to renew their contract with USADA, the protocol could change, potentially allowing McGregor to return to action sooner.
USADA CEO Responds
The UFC's decision not to renew their contract with USADA has stirred controversy, prompting a response from USADA CEO Travis Tygart. In a statement, Tygart expressed disappointment and highlighted the importance of prioritizing athletes' long-term health, safety, and a fair playing field. Despite the ongoing drama, McGregor is still expected to face Michael Chandler in his eventual return to the octagon. Additionally, rumors have circulated about a potential trilogy bout against Nate Diaz.
