Audie Attar, the manager of the Irishman, has confirmed that his recovery is on schedule

The Irishman is now back on his feet, and in the gym training. However, he has yet to return to kicking.

Audie Attar, manager of The Notorious, believes that The Notorious will return sooner than doctors originally thought.

SunSport was informed by Paradigm Sports Management that "he's ahead of schedule."

"We received our x-ray results back, but we also got our CT scan and ultrasound results.

"And when I see the view from the x-ray, it's healing me so beautifully.

"He is walking now after only 10 and-a-half weeks of surgery.

"And he's doing s**t we don't want him do, like throwing the first pitch at the Cubs Game."

Ireland's first UFC champion was a huge hit with fans when he put all of his weight on his injured leg prior to his pitch.

Attar was one of the people concerned. He laughed as he said, "That wasn't meant to be, ill advised and not do that."

"But the competitor that is he, here is donating his energy, time and resources to sponsor some children from a disadvantaged area.

He's so competitive, he can see them both throw a pitch and the competitive bug bit him.

"Against all advice from the doctor, he got out there and threw the first pitch.

He called it "the most devastating pitch in Major League Baseball History". He had fun doing it.

Positives from the viral pitch were that McGregor's leg bore all his weight and showed no discomfort.

Attar stated that "When you think about what he did to put his weight on one foot, people don’t really realize [the significance]. They forget what actually happened.

"He was now ten weeks away from surgery for a severe injury to his leg and is now putting all of his weight on it.

"And, by and large, that was his first throw of a baseball.

He had never touched a baseball before. He touched a ball for the first time, and he also threw the first baseball.

"And on the leg that should he not be putting that kind of pressure on ten months after surgery."

McGregor, UFC's most beloved fighter, has recently admitted that he had struggled in the beginning stages of his ongoing recovery.

The former feather and lightweight champion is still in good shape as he nears a quicker than expected return.

Attar stated that, "All jokes aside, he's in a good place." He is in a good place.

Conor: "The only thing I tell him is that you've already earned your heritage." It doesn't matter what you prove to anyone.

"Financially, there is no reason to fight again in your entire life. Because we've built amazing businesses.'

He's an entrepreneur, and we continue to set precedent for all athletes. "Not just MMA fighters, but all athletes."

McGregor's anticipated return to the Octagon is scheduled for July 2022. He will be looking to rebound from his consecutive losses to Poirier.

The pride of Dublin is determined to erase the memories of his last outing whenever he steps foot in the cage again.

Attar stated, "He's so competitive, man." Attar said, "He's so competitive, man.

"Whatever. "I'm not thinking of fighting. But I will get there.

"So, if the pitch was any indication of what might happen, God willing the healing process continues along a straight track, he'll come out there and want the opportunity to continue competing.

"Because the man wants to go on his terms. He won't accept the terms he was dealt in his last fight.
