He was able to stay in America for his surgery in Los Angeles, where he continued his recovery process. After that, he went on holiday with his family in Europe.

He was also accused of punching DJ Francesco Facchinetti in his face, leaving him with a bleeding nose and lip in front of his wife.

According to the chief, he didn't know "what the truth was" or "know exactly what happened" during the Milan melee.

Police were called to assist the Irishman who allegedly engaged in a scuffle while he was attending an event at St Regis Hotel in Rome.

McGregor and Dee Devlin were in Italy for Rian's christening in the Vatican over the past few days.

The trip was controversial as Facchinetti (41), and Wilma Faissol (39) made the claims to their 1.5 million combined Instagram followers.

Facchinetti uploaded a video reliving the incident and showed cuts to both his lips.

Wilma also shared several Instagram stories in which she accused the fighter of attacking her husband and feared he would be killed.

Although it is not clear what caused the alleged melee, SunSport reached out to McGregor's team to get their thoughts.

According to Italian Police, they arrived on the scene at 5.30 a.m. after an incident.

"COULD'VE KILLED HER"

McGregor was not contacted by police but he'may' be in the coming days as the DJ plans on filing a formal complaint in Milan.

Facchinetti is also a radio and TV personality in Italy. He told his Instagram followers: "I could be quiet but someone like him who pulls off a punch, think about what could happen."

He said that real fighters don't behave as that and accused the Irish star for punching him "for no reason".

Wilma also took to Instagram to accuse McGregor of cheating her.

She stated, "He could have killed me, he split my lips and nose."

Wilma stated that McGregor's bodyguards had been forced to stop McGregor because he wanted to 'keep beating Francis'.

McGregor's team provided them with hankies to wash the blood, before McGregor and her husband were told to exit through the side doors of the hotel.

McGregor was previously in trouble after punching a man in The Marble Arch Pub, Dublin in August 2019.

After Desmond Keogh had refused to take a shot of whiskey, the ex-UFC champion allegedly hit him.

He was convicted for assault and sentenced to PS860 in fine. Then he spent PS1.75million to buy the pub.
