This news broke just one month after an altercation between Machine Gun Kelly and rapper at the MTV Awards.

The ex-two-weight world champion is now in the final stages to recover from the terrible broken leg that he sustained in his fight with Dustin Pourier last July.

His head coach hinted that he may not fight at lightweight in his comeback fight as he seeks to carry on his remarkable legacy in the octagon.

Diego Sanchez, a former UFC veteran, doesn't believe McGregor is a role model for the next generation, despite his successes inside the cage.

The American, aged 40, told MMA Junkie that he wanted to help the next generation of youth.

"I want to be a motivating, positive inspiration for these children.

Conor McGregor is one of the giants of influence. It is not a good idea to spread the influence of drinking Proper Twelve or hitting older men for the next generation.

"So I'm trying my best to do my bit and that's why we do free seminars for kids.

"Anybody want to fly me anywhere in America or the world? I'll give a seminar free of charge for the children.

"Anywhere, anytime. Because they are the ones who will keep us going, and eventually take care of us, I'll make it a point to spend some time with them.

McGregor and Sanchez verbally agreed to fight in 2020, but the fight was canceled due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
