McGregor even had a few drinks with Megan Fox, the American singer who was accompanying him at MTV’s Video Music Awards.
Chael Sonnen, a former UFC title challenger, expressed concern about the Irishman after attending the event with 'elitist weirdos.
Sonnen, 44, stated on his YouTube channel that he didn't want him be a rich, strange guy. He shouldn't have that.
"He is dangerously close to becoming a little rich weirdo by getting and hedging.
"The fact that Conor was there is not good, especially if it's someone like me who comes out and attempts to keep that Conor's cool going.
"That's tough man. What's your job at MTV? Machine Gun Kelly will soon be recognized for his outstanding work if you are ever present at MTV.

He suffered a loss and had to have surgery. This is done ahead of his next year's return.
McGregor beat Poirier in 2014. He was knocked out in the rematch in January. McGregor is currently training again.
Sonnen slammed the fact that Sonnen, the former UFC champion at two-weight, attended MTV's red-carpet event.
He stated, "He goes to something known as MTV or VMA Awards, which right there hard stop it's weird.
"That's not cool. This is what dorks would do. Then, they would hope more nerds would see it.
"Conor being there. Very off-brand. It's all very strange. He then gets into a fight with Machine Gun Kelly, a knucklehead.
"This is interesting because we only have footage of Conor getting upset and trying get at or at someone."
