He admitted that there was an interest in a three-fight against Nate Diaz

McGregor has been working out between rehab sessions for his broken leg. He broke it in his fight with Dustin Pourier at UFC 264.

Paradigm Sports Management chief Auddie attar, the manager of the Irishman, recently told SunSport that his recovery is progressing faster than expected.

McGregor is eager to return to the Octagon and hopes to be back sparring in April.

The coach of the Irishman has increased the excitement for his return by discussing his potential star pupil.

First, Kavanagh expressed their interest in a third fight against Nate Diaz to The MMA Hour, saying that "I'll be truthful, the Nate Diaz Trilogy is very, very tempting." It's a fight I have nightmares about.

"The man never stops coming forward. It doesn't matter if it takes three rounds or five. It's an interesting fight. This one is certainly very intriguing."

He said, "But also the Tony Ferguson." It never happened. It was talked about often.

"I believe Tony still has a lot of things to offer the game. He is a grappler and striker who is very unconventional.

"I believe the build-up would make the fans happy. You know, any of these legacy guys."

McGregor may be interested in other men as well.

Kavanagh said, "Look, that division's killer. Dan Hooker is in there, you know.

"The Islam (Makhachev), fight would also be incredible, for obvious reasons.

"And we have, as you know, who's going to win the belt (Charles Oliveira, Dustin Poirier).

"So, you see, I can take any of these names. "I'm just thrilled to see Conor again."
