McGregor could not help but to comment on the striking performance of McGregor's featherweight champion against The Young Punisher.

The Notorious tweeted, "Jose Aldo has his hand raised after seeing Aldo."

McGregor ended Aldo’s legend as the featherweight champion six year ago in UFC 194.

McGregor has always been respectful to the MMA legend since their 13th bout.

Aldo was so happy to see Jeremy Stephens win against him in July 2018.

"Honestly, it was a joy to see his happiness after it."

Aldo, 34 years old, recently tip McGregor to get over his leg injury and regain the form that made him a worldwide phenom.

He said to MMA Fighting, "I believe he can [get] back to fighting at a very high level."

"I don't doubt the champions, their mind and willpower.

"He was the featherweight and lightweight champion and has dominated before."

It's up to him. He can return at a high level if he wishes to."

Aldo now plans to take another crack at bantamweight silver after consecutive wins over Marlon vera and Munhoz.
