CONOR MCGREGOR shared footage of his terrible leg injury in his fight with Dustin Pourier.
The Notorious broke his left tibia, fibula, and fibula during his UFC 264 rubber fight with The Diamond in July. He lost the match via first round TKO.
McGregor's leg gave out as Poirier, a fellow southpaw, traded crosses. However, the Irishman believes that the break occurred before their final exchange.
The former champion of two-divisions boasted that he had landed four strikes unanswered before his injury.
He tweeted: "Good angle. You can see that the leg was broken before I stood up.
It was broken before the guillotine. That's why I chose it.
"Four shots to zero in this clip to end the fight before the injury.
"This fight was going 100% my way. But big congrats lads hahaha ye right. Rats.
"I can see the weight of those upkicks that he was also eating here. These weren't the two most hefty upkicks that I saw.
"Where was he going to from this open guard top? He doesn't like to get upkicks in the face?
"Elbows down through the crown?" No like? "Tough s**t. See you soon."
McGregor, 33 years old, is making great strides in his rehabilitation from the horrible injury that will keep him off the field until July next year at the earliest.
After the downright horrible break, the Irishman took up weight training again within weeks and is now back on his feet hitting the pads.
Audie Attar, Paradigm Sports Management chief, recently told SunSport that his recovery was going well and said: "He's ahead on schedule."
"We received our X-ray results back, but we also got our CT scan and ultrasound results.
"And when I see the X-ray view myself, it's healing me so beautifully.
"He is walking now after only 10 and-a-half weeks of surgery.
"And he's doing s*** we don't want him do, like throwing the first pitch at a Cubs game."
He said, "He's so competitive, man." He said, "I don't think about the UFC."
"Whatever. "I'm not thinking of fighting. But I will get there.
"So, if the first pitch is an indication of what might happen, God willing, the healing process continues along a straight track, he's going to come out there to continue to compete.
"Because the man wants to go on his terms. He won't accept the terms he was dealt in his last fight.
