McGregor, 33 years old, plans to return to sparring in spring with a view towards a summer fight. He'll train for it with a tee total training camp.

The Notorious posted an Instagram photo of himself outside, along with a pint and a bottle Proper No.12 whiskey. Can't quite describe it.

"Last Saturday was the first day Ireland was freed from restrictions. Also coincidentally, it was the anniversary of Arthur Guinness' death.

"And every day since!" @forgedirishstout has become the clear leader in Stout sales! We all know that it is rare for a Stout to achieve this feat. Incredible!

"The fact that it happened on this day is a sign that it's a good sign that I'm on the right track with all of it!"
We continue to move forward!

"For my fighter fans, I would like to say that I enjoy my liquid. But, very soon, I will be back in full training with total abstention from my amazing creations of Spirit Ale and Spirit.

"Just 5 minutes more Ma!"

Audie Attar, McGregor's manager, revealed to SunSport late last year that McGregor's recovery was 'ahead-of-plan'.

UFC President Dana White anticipates a summer return of the Irishman who has lost three out of his last four fights.

White answered TMZ's questions about McGregor's participation this year.

"He is doing all the right thing with his leg. "I hope he will be able to come back this summer."

Although McGregor has not yet been confirmed by the UFC, White recently suggested that a match with Nate Diaz might be in the cards.

ESPN asked the MMA mogul about a possible series decider between bitter rivals. He replied, "It could [be] next."

UFC brass hope Conor McGregor will make a comeback in the summer.

"I believe Conor will be returning in the summer. But, I'm not sure. It all depends on how his leg heals.

"There are a million possibilities that could occur between now and then. It is foolish to speculate. That is why I stopped doing it.

"When McGregor calls me and says he's ready for training 100 percent, then we can start talking about Conor's possibilities."
