The MMA mogul appears to be open to the idea of The Problem Child

McGregor, 33 years old, initially didn't pay much attention to the possibility of a fight with Paul. However, he seems now to be interested in a possible boxing match with the former Disney star.

He said that he would be open to a dispute with The Problem Child if asked. Never say never."

Paul, a YouTube sensation, put McGregor back in McGregor's crosshairs after his viral knockout against Tyron Woodley, former UFC Welterweight Champion.

The Notorious was also one Paul targeted in his Dana White diss track.

McGregor said, "I didn’t see the Woodley fight. It did only a few thousand purchases. It was online.

"I didn’t hear the diss track from Dana. "I don't pay much attention to all that."

McGregor is currently focusing on a return to the Octagon in the summer, where he hasn’t been since breaking his leg last July.

SecondsOut was informed by the Irishman that he would like to be back at International Fight Week.

"But we'll see, though. It's up to me to keep it going day by day.

"April they said that I would be back sparring and back twisting and turning."

"I was told that I could box a few months ago, but then suddenly I couldn't.

"So I'm taking it day-by-day, there's no hurry. I feel great mentally.

"Physically, my body is strong and I feel energetic. I am always ready to fight so I will just keep going day by day.

"It will occur when the Lord desires it to."

Paul is presently eyeing a September return in the boxing rings. He said: "There are a lot of things going on in my life.

"I will be doing these press conferences in the next two weeks to promote Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano. I am also very busy with my venture capital fund on the business side.

"So, I haven’t even been back to the gym or trained at all.

"I would suggest August-September, but I need to talk with my coaches. Perhaps later. It's something I'm working on.

"Obviously, if the stars align or I have a change in heart, then things could move in a positive direction but right now I don’t feel motivated to go back into another training camp."
