Diaz's tweet caused a stir in the MMA community, with fans salivating at the possibility Battle of California.
Conor McGregor, his old rival, quickly noticed it and was compelled to comment.
McGregor replied with an image from his UFC 264 post-fight interview in which he furiously told Joe Rogan that his rivalry against Dustin Poirier is not over'.
A fan asked The Notorious if he would like to share the octagon before he called it quits.
The UFC's poster child didn't mince words when he expressed his desire to fight the duo.
McGregor stated in a now-deleted Tweet: "Both at one stage, irregardless.
"Two bowls salsa verde are coming up!" #splatter

Ferguson had previously competed at UFC 262, where his third loss was to Beneil Dariush.
McGregor is still healing from the fractured leg he sustained in his ill-fated Trilogy fight with Poirier.
Audie Attar, his manager, recently stated to SunSport that "He's ahead on schedule."
"We received our x-ray results back, but we also got our CT scan and ultrasound results.
"And when I see the x-ray view myself, it's healing me so beautifully.
"He is walking now after only 10 and-a-half weeks of surgery.
"And he's doing s**t we don't want him do, like throwing the first pitch at the Cubs Game."
