The Notorious spent six months in the hospital recovering from the broken leg sustained during his Las Vegas trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier.
Conor McGregor gained a lot of weight while on the sidelones
McGregor, 33 years old, is back in the gym after a hiatus. He weighed in at a staggering 86kg.
The Irishman continues to crush the weights in preparation for his return to martial art training.
McGregor shared Tuesday night a video showing him doing a set weighted chin-ups at McGregor Fast's home gym.
Before he reached the bar to complete his set, the former champion of two divisions had a dumbbell attached on a belt.
He did ten perfect reps, before suffering further pain with the super-slow negative at end.
Dubliner fans were quick to respond, with one comment: "Easy Peasy."
Another one said, "My man has become massive."
Another said, "Good job Conor. "Pull-ups are not a joke.
One replied, "Damn, that's insane strength and form."
Another simply said, "Silverback."
McGregor posted the video just days after McGregor said he would soon stop drinking and get into 'full training.
On Instagram, he wrote: "For my fighter fans, I want you to know that I am enjoying my liquid. But, very soon, I will be immersing my self in full training again with total abstention from all my wonderful creations Spirit and Ale."
Audie Attar, McGregor's manager, told SunSport last year, that McGregor is on track for his recovery.
UFC President Dana White anticipates a summer return of the Irishman who has lost three out of his last four fights.
White answered TMZ's questions about McGregor's participation this year.
"He is doing all the right thing with his leg. "I hope he will be able to come back this summer," I said.
