Conor McGregor, INJURED MMA fighter, has taken to social networking to share photos of himself and his children riding in Phoenix Park.

The 33-year old is getting closer to full fitness, but a return seems unlikely until December or the first quarter of 2023.

Ireland's first and only UFC champion is now enjoying a bit of cycling with his two children.

The pair of photos were shared by 'Notorious'. One was taken in Dublin's Phoenix Park and the other at his Kildare home. The park is the largest enclosed urban park in Europe and five times larger than London's Hyde Park.

The cheeky caption he posted to his Instagram account read: "One Is the Phoenix Park." One is my garden."

SunSport reported that UFC President Dana White stated to SunSport earlier in the year that he expects the promotion's poster child to return to action in the fall.

The MMA mogul, however, is anticipating that the pride of Dublin will return to the ring in December.

White answered Jim Rome when he was asked where McGregor's next fight would be.

"Conor wants to return at the end this year and early next year."

He said: "Conor wants to fight when I talk to him.

"Conor receives many offers for film roles and other things that he could do to make money.

"He doesn’t want to do that." Conor is willing to fight.

McGregor's compatriot Ian Garry, who beat Gabe Green in Las Vegas at UFC 276, kept his impeccable pro record intact.

At the T-Mobile Arena, the Dubliner won unanimously with all three judges scoring him victory (30-27.30-27.30-27.30-27.30-27.30-27.27.27.27.27.27.27.27.27.27.27.27.27.27.27.27).

Garry stated that he wants to bring the UFC back home to Ireland in a backstage interview after the fight at T-Mobile Arena.

Garry said he would do anything requested by the UFC, but he wants to fight on the same card as Conor McGregor, the UFC PPV King when the former double champ is back from injury.

Ian said, "It's one thing that I would like next." It doesn't necessarily have to be my next fight, but it's what I want. Now, my goal is to bring the UFC home.

"Listen, Conor will be back anytime, whether it's later this year or the beginning of next year. I'll still be there."
