CONOR McGREGOR has supported Ricardo Ramos in his UFC career.
In the first round, Danny Chavez was knocked out by the Brazilian MMA star in the fight at UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs Emmett.
The featherweight challenger won it with style. A crunching spinning reverse elbow extended his UFC record at 6-3.
Paradigm Sports signed him, the same management company that managed Conor McGregor.
The Dubliner was so proud of Ramos that he even tipped him to win featherweight.
He wrote the following Instagram message, along with a clip from the devastating KO: "Paradigm Sport Own!" @ricardoramosmma! This Brazilian 145lber fighter is an incredible fighter.
"Incredible excitement towards my former division's ufc title ![]()
. My former belt.
"Congrats tonight"
McGregor won the 2015 featherweight title, beating Jose Aldo by 13 seconds!
However, he didn't defend the belt and instead fought Nate Diaz twice.
McGregor won the rematch after McGregor lost the first fight in March 2016.
The Irishman defeated Eddie Alvarez, the lightweight holder, to become the first two-weight simultaneous world champion in UFC history.
He didn't defend it again and was instead stripped of the belts in November 2016, (featherweight), and February 2018, (lightweight).
For almost TWO years, he didn't return to Octagon. He faced Floyd 'Money" Mayweather in an exhibition fight that was worth millions of dollars.
McGregor made his return to UFC in October 2018. He faced Khabib Nurmagomedov, who lost, for the lightweight gold.
Since then, he has fought three times: beating Donald Cerrone in Jan 2020 and losing to Dustin Poirier both in January and July 2021.
ALL THE WAY MAC
He sustained a broken leg from the former and has not been able to fight since.
In the 12 months since then, speculations have been high about who McGregor might fight next.
He was involved in a heated social media feud with UFC welterweight champion Jorge Masvidal.
He has been linked to a fight with Michael Chandler at lightweight. Chandler wants the Irishman at its biggest and most dangerous.
Charles Oliveira has offered the Crumlin-native a LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT.
Oliveira was famously stripped of the belt before his championship because he had lost weight prior to his UFC 274 win against Justin Gaethje.
McGregor won, but the belt remains vacant. Fans speculate that McGregor might be hot-shotted in, a possibility McGregor teased.
MAC LIFE
McGregor is living the high life, despite the fact that the rumour mill keeps rolling.
Conor also spent time in France on vacation, as he was unable to continue his rehabilitation.
During this time, he was the guest-of-honour in the Haas F1 garage during the Monaco GP. He posed for photos alongside Mick Schumacher and Kevin Magnussen.
He and Dee Devlin, his partner, were seen having a good time in France during their holiday. They also seemed to be enjoying a well-deserved break from their three young children.
Exclusive photos show McGregor, 33 years old, laughingly grabbing his private parts while Dee, 34-years-old, lies next to him, laughing.
McGregor, Dubliner McGregor, lay on top of her while the pair enjoyed their summer vacation.
While the couple giggled in glamorous Saint-Tropez, onlookers observed.
McGregor took off his Lacoste polo shirt in light blue as he swam around Dee. Dee was wearing a pink bikini and soaking up the sun.
