Conor McGregor would be a tougher opponent for Jake Paul than his former rival Nate Diaz claims UFC legend Michael Bisping

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping rated Conor McGregor as a more difficult opponent than Jake Paul and Nate Diaz.

Paul, a Youtube star who is now a boxer, has defeated former UFC stars Tyron Whiteley and Ben Askren in the boxing ring. He has his sights set on a fight with McGregor or Diaz in future.

Bisping defeated Luke Rockhold to win the UFC Middleweight Championship 2016.

McGregor made the switch to boxing in 2017, and Bisping believes McGregor's boxing technique and boxing intelligence make him a superior opponent than Diaz.

On his Youtube channel, McGregor stated that he gives McGregor the edge when it comes to power and precision as well as actual technique.

"Yes, Diaz can bang. Yes, McGregor was beaten by Diaz in their first fight.

"That was how he was capable of finishing him with the rear-naked choke. He's a great boxer with high output and great boxing. However, I don't believe that No.1's is as technical or as explosive as McGregor's. Conor McGregor has the clear advantage.

Despite Bisping's claim, a Diaz fight remains more likely for Paul.

After his fight against Khamzat Chimaev, Diaz will be out on contract with UFC. He will therefore be free to discuss a boxing match.

Paul agreed with Bisping, saying that McGregor would be a harder opponent to test his boxing skills.

Morning Combat spoke with the Ohio native who stated that Conor is the more difficult fight due to his previous experience fighting Floyd Maayweather.

He said: "He is definitely better striker, and Nate gets hit much more. Conor could fight me.

"He is inactive. I am still fighting. I am the one who is moving uphill, while his entire career is falling down."

Paul concluded, "If and whenever the stars align, we can make it happen 100 percent. Nate knows that I'm the money fighter.
