Conor McGregor's bitter rival Khabib retorts at Khabib and claims Conor McGregor's tweet mocking the death of his father was 'terrible.

KHABIB NURMAGOMEDOV claims Conor McGregor has gone too far in their feud by mocking his father's death.

In mocking Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov's death, the former champion in two divisions stunned mixed martial arts by tweeting: "Covid IS good, father is evil?"

Many in the MMA community were furious at The Notorious' controversial tweet

McGregor's tweet, which was quickly deleted, was a reference the congratulatory tweet Nurmagomedov sent Dustin Pourier after UFC 226. In it, the Russian stated: "Good always wins over evil."

Nurmagomedov said to TMZ that he believes the Irishman has crossed the line when he was asked if he thought so.

The first Russian champion in UFC was then asked his opinion on the comments of his bitter opponent.

The former UFC lightweight champion shouted, "Terrible!" as he left the camera.

McGregor's tasteless tweet also attracted the ire Ali Abdelaziz's manager, Nurmagomedov. He ripped McGregor after being asked about a possible rematch between them.

ESNews was informed by the Dominance MMA chief: "Brother Conor is no longer a high-level fighter."

He must work hard on his life. He doesn't have to fight anymore.

McGregor and Nurmagomedov, 32 years old, fought in the main event at UFC 229 in Las Vegas nearly three years ago.

The Dagestani fighter won the fight, the largest in UFC history, via fourth round submission. This sparked a mass brawl just a few seconds later.

Nurmagomedov would defend the lightweight title twice more before announcing his retirement last October.

McGregor was furious at McGregor's decision to quit the sport.

"Where is he now?" Yes, but why? He started sprinting.

"He's gone... He s**t his jocks and became fat... He has done nothing in the sport.

"F**k everything he's done for the sport."

McGregor is currently sidelined with a broken leg sustained in last month's UFC 264 Trilogy fight against Poirier.

Recently, the Irishman claimed that he had multiple fractures in his left leg and went into the series decider. He said: "The leg feels better than ever."

"I was hurt going into the fight. People ask me when the leg was broken.

"At what point did it break?" Dana White asks. Ask the UFC. Dr. Davidson is the UFC's head doctor.

"They knew that I had stress fractures in the leg before I went into that cage.

"There was some debate about taking the thing out, because I was sparring with no shin pads and I would kick my knee a few times.

"So, I suffered multiple stress fractures above my ankle in the shin bone and then I still have problems with my ankle after all these years of fighting."
