CONOR McGREGOR was warned that his career would 'come to an abrupt halt' if it fights Jake Paul.
YouTuber Paul continues to pursue a boxing match against McGregor, who was defeated in his 2017 ring debut against Floyd Mayweather.

Social media star Tyron Woodley, 39 is his greatest challenge and he's currently at 3-0.
McGregor, a former two-weight UFC champion, and the current No1 in boxing were both recently listed on Paul's "hit-list" of opponents.
His trainer BJ Flores acknowledged that Canelo, the Mexican superstar, is not up for discussion. However, his top talents are at UFC.
Flores stated to The W.A.D.E Concept that although Canelo Alvarez was not on our radar, Jake's enthusiasm for believing that he can beat big names is admirable.
Conor should not fight Jake, I'll tell you now. If he fights me, his career will be a disaster.
"But there are plenty of other MMA fighters and names that would give Jake a better fight.
"We will determine which name Jake is most suited for him, including some very big names in MMA. I won't be easy on Jake."
McGregor was open to a return to the ring and entered negotiations last year with Manny Pacquiao.
After being knocked out by Dustin Poirier in January, he lost the fight to Pacquiao (42).
McGregor, 33, lost his trilogy bout with Poirier 32 seconds before the first round was over.
Since then, he has undergone surgery. He is now training, but will still need to complete the six-month suspension.
Paul has defeated 'AnEsonGib,' an online rival, while Nate Robinson, 37-year-old NBA star, and Ben Askren (37-years-old UFC welterweight), return to the ring this weekend.
