John Kavanagh, the head coach, said that he would love to see them meet in a catchweight bout.

McGregor, 33 years old, seems to have set his sights on a rematch against his former 145lb champion earlier in the month. John Kavanagh would love to see this happen.

Submission Radio was informed by the chief of SBG Ireland: "The funny part is, I think that for guys at Conor’s level and Max’s level and those men, I don’t even really understand why they bother cutting down weight anymore.

"It's almost as if, just let them fight. Because I think Max is likely to be heavier than Conor if they are not fighting.

"I have heard stories about him gaining a lot of weight.

"So, they agreed to fight, then spent eight weeks trying deplete themselves, trying get down to some weight to fight for a belt."

"Max had a few belts. Conor has had a few. They've done that. That should be put aside.

"I don’t know if this is important anymore. Let them fight at whatever weight they are.

"Just let them do (laughs). Let's not care what their weight is.

Holloway, a future UFC Hall of Famer believes that McGregor is on his'shortlist' to be welcomed back to the octagon.

UFC chief Dana White won't allow Blessed to avenge his defeat to him in 2013.

He stated that he didn't know what Max's future holds, but that it made sense to see Volkanovski and him again.

UFC president Dana White isn't currently thinking about Conor McGregor's next bout.

"Conor's not even- Conor's still hurt. It's silly to even speak about Conor.

McGregor, 33 years old, is currently recovering from the terrible broken leg sustained in his fight with Dustin Pourier during the July Trilogy.

SunSport was recently informed by the manager of the Dubliner that the ex-two-division champion is making progress faster than expected.

Audie Attar, chief of Paradigm Sports Management, told SunSport that he is ahead of schedule.

"We received our x-ray results back, but we also got our CT scan and ultrasound results.

"And when I see the view from the x-ray, it's healing me so beautifully.

"He is walking now after only 10 and-a-half weeks of surgery.

"And he's doing s**t we don't want him do, like throwing the first pitch at the Cubs Game."
