Former UFC welterweight Mike Perry predicted that "somebody might die" during Triller’s inaugural Triad Combat event.
The hybrid boxing/mixed martial arts show, which will see fighters compete within a triangular cage, takes place in Arlington, Texas on Sunday morning.

Perry, a fan favourite, will take on Mike Seals, a light-heavyweight boxer. He has promised bloodshed for the paying customers.
A fired up Platinum stated during Wednesday's prefight press conference: "Let’s go, for sure, motherf s going to bleed. motherf*****s gonna get f****dup, and somebody might die.”
Perry responded to a question about his grim pre-fight prediction. "Straight up, it is a fight. What do y'all want?
"I'm going to f**k that dude up, it's our turn."
Perry recently signed a multi-fight agreement with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. He took to Instagram to clarify his comments just a few hours later.
According to the 30-year-old, "You may not want death to be discussed but it is part of life."
"It's the freedom to choose how your life will be risked that makes life so exciting.
"Some people die before they even live. I have always lived my life to its fullest.
"The greater your risk, the more you take on the responsibility, the longer you live."
Perry was not like Seals at 39. He was calm, collected, and cool throughout the stack presser.
He said, "You could speak. That's good. It's not all talk. I'm about ready to go to work...Y'all already know what I do."
Triad Combat will feature a heavyweight bout between Frank Mir, an ex-UFC champion, and Kubrat Pulev (an ex-boxing world title challenger).
Mir, who fought Steve Cunningham, the former IBF cruiserweight champion, in April, revealed that he is set to take home the largest payday of his combat sports career.
He stated that if I hit my bonuses and win, then I'm effectively touching on seven figures.
"And I have never been within a couple hundred thousand of that in the MMA World."
