This comes just a few days after McGregor began sparring for the first time in his life since his horrific leg injury last July.

33-year-old former UFC champion has been working out regularly.

In the first round of his trilogy trilogy bout with Dustin Pourier, 33, he broke his tibia, which required surgery later.

This was after his defeat to Poirier, the man he first beat in 2014.

The injury left Kamaru Usman, a former champion at two-weight UFC, in a state of recovery. He was recently called out by Kamaru Usman (34), as the welterweight king.

McGregor was charged with speeding, driving without insurance, and driving without a licence. He has confirmed that he will be returning to welterweight.

He stated, "Straight back to training.

"I look forward to getting back in the Octagon - we'll watch what happens, the leg is getting better each day.

"I believe 170 is the goal, I feel great at this weight.

Then, he tweeted Usman: "Put all your money where your mouth and then, oh wait."

Ali Abdelaziz, Usman's manager, tweeted: "If Conor desires Dana will want nothing but to see Kamaru make a hole in his brain."
