CONOR MCGREGOR'S new UFC opponent Islam Makhachev has been described as a "better version" of Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Ali Abdelaziz, his manager, believes Khabib will be a world champion.

Makhachev has been linked to fighting The Notorious because of his close relationship with Team Khabib.
Abdelaziz seems to not be afraid of his loss to the former two-weight champion.
Abdelaziz spoke to TMZ and said that Islam Makhachev is not too popular for people to fight.
"I believe he will be one of the most outstanding fighters ever. He is better than Khabib.
"I believe that he is. He may not be right now, but he could and I believe he will be a future champion in the world.
After stopping Justin Gaethje at UFC 254, Nurmagomedov resigned from UFC in Oct 2020.
UFC was not able to defeat the Russian.
McGregor was submitted by McGregor in their 2018 grudge bout. However, the two continue to exchange insults ever after.
McGregor might have more to do at the moment than a Makhachev scrap.
A DJ from Italy claims McGregor punched him in the face after they had shared a drink.
Francesco Facchinetti claims that the UFC star was "completely out-of-control" and "seemed to want to kill him" in Rome.
McGregor, 41 years old, is currently facing assault charges. However, McGregor insists that he doesn't want McGregor to go to jail.
