The Fallout between Dana White and Tito Ortiz
UFC president Dana White has had his fair share of public disputes with fighters over the years, but none have been as bitter as his feud with Tito Ortiz. White used to manage Ortiz when he was the UFC light-heavyweight champion, but their relationship soured after White became president of the promotion in 2001.
A Proposed Boxing Match
The tension between White and Ortiz reached a boiling point during Ortiz's reign as the 205lb king. So much so, that the two eventually agreed to a boxing match in 2007. However, the fight never happened as Ortiz no-showed the weigh-ins at the Ultimate Fighter gym.

White's Confidence and Pleasure
Dana White, who has a background in boxing, firmly believes he would have dominated Ortiz in the match. He said, "Nobody has p****d me off more than Tito Ortiz, I was gonna f**k him up and make him look stupid." White also expressed his delight when Ortiz was knocked out by Chuck Liddell, calling it his favorite moment in UFC history.
A Trophy from Victory
White took immense pleasure in Ortiz's defeat to Liddell and even wanted the Iceman's fight gear as a trophy. He asked Liddell for his gloves and trunks that he used to beat Ortiz and put them on display in a glass case in his house.

Ortiz's Withdrawal and White's Reaction
Recalling Ortiz's withdrawal from the fight in 2014, White revealed that he was ready to fight and in great shape. He accused Ortiz of backing out because he knew he was going to get beaten on national television. Ortiz has yet to publicly bury the hatchet with White, but expresses a desire to move past the hard feelings.
Looking to the Future
While the feud continues, the UFC is gearing up for its upcoming pay-per-view event in Boston. The highlight of the night will be a fight between men's bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling and "Suga" Sean O'Malley.
