UFC 300 just got a lot more exciting with a major fight announcement from Dana White, the president and CEO of the UFC. The highly-anticipated 300th pay-per-view event will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 13.
Former Champion Charles Oliveira Returns to the Octagon
Dana White wasted no time in revealing the fourth fight on the card for UFC 300. Former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira will be making his long-awaited return to the octagon. Oliveira's opponent will be the surging 155lbs contender Arman Tsarukyan, who is currently on a three-fight win streak.
Implications for the Lightweight Title
The winner of the Oliveira vs Tsarukyan fight will earn the opportunity to face the current lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev, in the summer. Originally, Oliveira was slated to fight Makhachev, but the champion is still recovering from an injury. Tsarukyan is coming off an impressive knockout victory over Beneil Dariush.

Oliveira vs Tsarukyan is just the fourth fight to be officially announced for UFC 300. Fans can expect more thrilling matchups to be revealed soon, as Dana White has promised to announce more fights for the historic event on Tuesday. Stay tuned for updates!
