UFC President Dana White also admitted that the promotion could free the former P4P king

White doesn't rule out White being granted his walking papers, just like Luis Pena who was released last week on charges of domestic violence and battery.

UFC's top man said that "something like that could happen" to anyone. It could happen to anyone.

After details about an incident he had with his girlfriend were made public, Pena, an ex-lightweight fighter in the UFC was issued his marching orders.

White stated that the Ultimate Fighter season 27 competitor's launch was "a bad case."

"And we know he had issues before we tried to help him.

"This was a very nasty incident. I don't know if the police report was read by you. This one was inevitable.

Jones, who hadn't been inside the octagon for over 19 months, was taken into custody by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department just hours after being inducted into UFC Hall-of-Fame.

On October 26, the upstate New Yorker will appear before the Las Vegas Justice Court.

Richard Schaefer, his advisor, was shocked by the latest encounter with the law that the former pound-for pound king had with the law.

SunSport reported Schaefer last month that "Everything was really going well." Everything was perfect when he arrived in Vegas.

"I believe he was great when you see the videos of the night of the hall -of-fame Induction.

He said, "So everything was going well.

"Then, when I woke up the next morning, I saw this news, and I was shocked.

"Jon is one the most genuine, kindest people I've ever met." "So yeah, I was shocked."

"Now we need to see how the whole thing plays out legally before making any rush to judgment.

"And I believe the UFC is adopting that same stance."

Jon Jones hasn’t been inside the Octagon in 19 months.

"I saw Dana [White] interview yesterday, and he agreed with me in that it is just up to us to see how this whole thing turns out."

"And then, we can make our views and we can do what we like - all we have to do is see.

"I cannot really talk about it, legally speaking, as you can see."
