Irresponsible Ice Bath Challenge Sparks Fury
UFC president, Dana White, expressed his anger at the production crew of The Ultimate Fighter after the latest episode featured a dangerous stunt. In the episode, coaches Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler were asked questions while sitting in separate ice baths for nearly 30 minutes. White called the challenge "completely irresponsible" and expressed his concern for the safety of the fighters involved.
White Unleashes His Fury
During an interview with The Mac Life YouTube channel, White did not hold back when asked about his thoughts on the ice bath challenge. He described it as a "huge clusterf***" and criticized the production team for their "dangerous, stupid, and ridiculous" decision. White expressed his disappointment and vowed that such incidents would not happen again.
Speculation on McGregor's Next Fight
The latest series of The Ultimate Fighter has fueled speculation about Conor McGregor's next fight. After breaking his leg in a bout against Dustin Poirier in July 2021, McGregor's return to the Octagon has been eagerly anticipated. While there have been talks of a possible fight with Justin Gaethje, recently McGregor has shown interest in a potential bout with Gaethje instead.
Chandler Unfazed by McGregor's Change of Plans
Although McGregor seemed to have shifted his focus to Gaethje, Michael Chandler remained confident that he would be McGregor's next opponent. Chandler dismissed McGregor's recent tweets as mind games and expressed his belief that the fight between them made too much sense not to happen.
Dana White Backs Up Chandler's Claims
Dana White stood behind Michael Chandler's statement, confirming that McGregor's next fight would indeed be against the three-time Bellator champion. White dismissed McGregor's Twitter callouts as typical behavior from the Irishman, stating that he enjoys playing mind games with his opponents.
