DANIEL CORMIER, Khabib Nurmagomedov were both moved after being inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.
Khabib, 33 years old, paid tribute his father for the success in the Octogan, with the Russian becoming the world champion at UFC 223, in April 2018.
Cormier was the UFC's light heavyweight champion in 2015. He defended his title five more times before he gave up the belt in December 2018.
After beating Stipe Miocic, the 43-year old also won the heavyweight title. Derrick Lewis defended the title before Miocic took it.
Cormier shared his pride when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. This honor was made even more special by Khabib sharing the occasion.
Cormier wept during his acceptance speech and said: "Guys. This has been an absolute nightmare of mine.

"I am a man who has always loved sports and understand the importance of the Hall of Fame.
"I can understand how the three words are meant to honor an athlete's achievements. This is why I want you all to understand how important it is to me.
"Me and Khabib going into together, it's just an incredible night.
Khabib spoke emotional about his father's influence.
He shared his story about his journey to MMA and UFC, and said that his success motivated him to share his knowledge with others who are trying to do great things in the sport.
Khabib stated: "Ten Years ago, my mind wasn't the same."
"I'm going be a champion, I'm going be rich, buy all. My mind was changed by the events of the last two years.
"The way I thought changed. It's difficult to talk about my father when he isn't there. It's very difficult for me.
"[My father] rented an enormous house, and we all lived together.
"We would eat together. We went to school, came back, trained, and then we returned to our home. As a father, we tried to put everything we had into the future. He invested his time, energy, and money in us. He made an investment in us.
"From this house come six world champions, UFC champs, and a lot more champions. Father invested everything we have. He provided a great education. He provided us with good opportunities to study in top schools and universities. He also invested all he had.
"His entire life, he invested in people. This is a huge motivation for me. Even though I'm done, I still try to invest in people. This is the best way to invest.
