Flowers' piledriver caused his rival to tap out, and it had the desired effect.

Gogoladze tried to wrap Flowers in a submission triangle choke move.

Flowers, quick-thinking and a great thinker, broke the chokehold and lifted Gogoladze up before driving him to the ground Undertaker style.

The move was made famous by the WWE's wrestling legend during his 30-year reign.

Mark Calaway, a 57-year old real-name, retired from the franchise at the end of 2020 and was inducted into The Hall of Fame in April 2022.

He would have smiled if Flowers had told him about his Tombstone.

White, the UFC boss, gave Flowers a thumbs up after Flowers' first round victory.

The manouvre also captured the attention of Twitter users, one even writing that he was "damn near a gravestone piledriver."

Another voiced his opinion: "My man gave him the Tombstone Piledriver."

A third person quipped, "Official Results: Flowers By Knockout (Tombstone Piledriver), 3:48."

After his heroics, White awarded the Chicago native a UFC contract.

Flowers hopes that his career follows the path of Brit Leon Edwards, who defeated Kamaru Usman in order to become UFC Champion.

Edwards performed a brutal Hail Mary kick to end Usman's dominance of the Welterweight division.

He then used his post-match speech as an opportunity to address all those doubting his ability to become champion.
