Donovan Salvato, a MMA fighter, was arrested for allegedly biting his roommate's testicles.
According to a police report, Salvator, a 3-1 amateur record holder, was taken to the Metro Nashville Jail for twelve hours for "domestic attack with bodily injury".

According to the affidavit, he got into a fight with Abel Sosa after a row about Salvato's staying there, despite not being on the lease.
They got into a fight and Salvato is reported to have delivered punches to Sosa's head and body.
Then, he allegedly went downstairs to bite Sosa's trousers, leaving him with an awful laceration of testicles.
Salvato believes that the injuries could have been caused by the two of them simply grappling around in the room.
However, Sosa has now shared his account of what transpired on social media.
Sosa shared the following message on Facebook: "If this person is your friend, don't trust your nuts around him."
"Literally, the evidence that I will use in court is a piece he managed to rip out of my testicles. I was treated at the VA hospital with 3 stitches and received multiple injections to stop my dental infection spreading. This happened right on Veterans Day.
"I should have good ol Marine Corp eye wentuged the son a b***h. But I was so focused on maintaining control, never gave a punch. Victories are won when you keep your cool.
"I need to write about the stories that I have encountered. It is hard to believe that a professional MMA fighter could have bitten their testicles during a fight.
"I'll wait.... Nashville can be wild. I've experienced more danger here than anywhere else.
"If I ever write a book about my nuts being bitten, you can be sure it will start at the beginning and have a rewind so everyone can get a first bite!"
The person asked, "Was your naked?"
He replied, "Hell no!" He bit into his pants.
