Drake, a MUSIC star, has bet $1 million on Israel Adesanya's win this weekend for his middleweight title.

Jared Cannonier will be the Last Stylebender and he will defend his 185lb belt against The Last Stylebender in the main event at UFC 276 in Las Vegas.

Adesanya, 32 years old, has easily swept through the middleweight division and is the favorite to leave International Fight Week carrying his strap.

Drake, a MMA fanatic, doesn't see anything but an Adesanya victory. He's even staked $1million (PS826,000), on the New Zealander born in Nigeria to have his hand raised.

Drizzy made the bold wager in FaceTime late at night with the rising superstar.

During the call, the 'Hotline Bling" star stated: "Bro. I already know when it is. I know that I put a light-million up.

Adesanya was still reducing weight for official weigh-ins and asked: "Light mil?"

Drake responded: "A light mil. Drake replied: "A light mill. The return on investment is a guarantee."

Later, the Canadian said that he just wanted to wish him good luck.

Adesanya will hope that he does not fall for the "Drake curse", which has affected many fighters and teams in sports.
